OPEN HOURS FROM 5TH APRIL

Hi all, so yay we are back open this week - our household is all healthy and covid free. Also very excited we can go back to our original open hours as the vaccine passport requirements have been dropped. We will now be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week between 9am and 1pm and then the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month between 9am and 12 midday. No vaccine passports required so anyone can just pop in between those times.
We are also available outside of those hours by pre-arranged appointments.
Please ensure you return your toys clean, wear a mask (unless you have an exemption), scan in (if you want to), sanatise and maintain a 1 mtr distance from others in the toy library.
So happy to be one step closer to a smidge of normality - look forward to seeing you all soon

Hi all, so it''s got us....my daughter has tested positive for covid this morning so we are all now in isolation and the Toy Library will be closed until we are all able to come out of isolation. For anyone with toys due for a change from Thursday the 24th of March until we re-open these will be extended out for free. Apologies for any inconvenience - looking forward to being able to re-open as soon as we can do safely.

New service offered.......CONTACTLESS DELIVERY SERVICE for Taupo Toy Library members
# This is a temporary service to help people who have to isolate / people who are sick / people who want to limit their contact with others where they can
# Deliveries will be done between Mondays and Fridays - limited spots available
# We can deliver up to 10kms distance from the Taupo Toy Lbrary
# Delivery fee will be between $5 and $10 depending on location
# Minimum spend on toys $15
# Payment by bank transfer prior to delivery
# Standard 2 week hire period (with renewal if possible/needed)
# Delivery only at this stage - you will be responsible for returns unless otherwise arranged
# Flick me a message or call if this is for you and I will happily coast by your place to drop off toys.
New Open Hours

Hi all,
So our new hours for the meantime while we are at the orange traffic light setting will be
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week ...between 8.30am and 12.45 for people who are double vaccinated to pop in
and between 1 and 2 o'clock for people who are unvaccinated to pop in
Also the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month............Between 8.30am and 11.45 for people who are double vaccinated to pop in
and between 12 and 1 o''clock for people who are unvaccinated to pop in
We are still available by appointment if you can't make it in during our open hours but as we are now open between 4 and a half and 5 and half hours extra per week than what we used to be doing (this is so we can accommodate everyone safely and comfortably within the current covid rules) we won't have as many appointment times available as before.
Re Opening

Hi everyone, hope you have all had a most fantastic Christmas and New Year. I''ve had some great family time and enjoyed the gorgeous weather.
We will be re-opening for business tomorrow and the hours set for this week are as follows
Tuesday 11th, Wednesday the 12th and Thursday the 13th.... between 8.30 to 12.45 for people who are double vaccinated and between 1 and 2 o,clock for people who are unvaccinated
Saturday the 15th.... between 8.30 and 11.45 for people who are double vaccinated and between 12 and 1 o''clock for people who are unvaccinated
Either breeze in between those times or if they don''t suit feel free to call or text and happy to sort out a plan that does.

Hi all, so Saturday the 18th of December is our last day open pre Christmas. Hours are
8am to 11.45am to welcome in people who are vaccinated
12 midday to 1pm to welcome in people who are unvaccinated
And Christmas bonus....you just pay the usual 2 week hire price and then get 2 extra weeks free. Pop in if you''d like to stock up on holiday fun......oh and if those times don''t suit you please feel free to call or text and we will see if we can tee up a plan b for you

Hi there,
We are fine tuning the new traffic light set up so as we learn how many vaccinated and unvaccinated people we have to help we are tweeking our hours around. This is to ensure we can manage the work load to the best of our ability and maintain the social distance requirements, our cleaning regime and all other aspects of this new system we need to take into account. At this stage we can confirm that
Tuesday the 7th and Wednesday 8th this week between 8.30am and 12 midday the Toy Library is open for vaccinated people and from 12.15 to 1.45 it will be open for unvaccinated people.
Hours for Thursday the 9th will be updated when we know how many people we are catering for.

Level 2

Hi all, we will be open during level 2 this Tuesday and Wednesday between 9 and 1 with covid protocols in place to keep everyone safe.
# We have systems in place for maintaining social distancing
# There is hand sanitiser for you to use
# The covid tracer poster is at the front entrance for you to scan
# Please ensure you check and clean all toys before returning
# We will continue as usual to recheck, clean and sanitise all toys as well - the reasons for this are for everyone''s peace of mind, for your child''s/children''s safety and for everyone''s health and well being.

Christmas & New Year hours

Hi all - we will be open until (and including) Saturday the 19th of December. After that we are taking a wee break to spend some time with our families and plan some new and exciting changes for next year. We will re open Tuesday the 12th of January.
Pop on in by the 19th and stock up on tons of summer holiday fun.
Covid19 Announcement

Due to the covid 19 virus the Taupo Toy Library will be closed during level 4 and level 3. Anyone who currently has toys hired out please just hang onto them until we can re-open again at level 2.
And anyone with a current membership you won’t be missing out - however long we are closed for we will be extending the term of your membership by that length of time.
