Melissa was originally part of the toy library as a member to get toys for her 2 daughters. We were lucky enough to have her join our wee team of staff in October 2023. She has the most beautiful welcoming smile and a genuine interest in helping people. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in both hospitality and marketing. Super lucky to have Melissa with us.

Greg

Head of repairs and maintenance

Couldn’t do this without my Hubby Greg - I’m enormously grateful for his patience in letting the toys sometimes take over his garage and his skill level at keeping the toys in tip-top condition.

Part time staff and full time toy testers

My daughters have both grown up around the toy library since they were 4 and 2 years of age. Over the time they have been very enthusiastic toy testers and have both worked part time with me. I have thoroughly enjoyed working alongside them.

Mary-Anne

I joined the toy library back when my eldest was just 2 years of age and fell in love with the whole idea of it. When it came up for sale at the end of 2006 I didn’t need to think twice about taking it over. So in January 2007, I began one of the best jobs ever!!! I’ve learnt so much and enjoyed growing with it. Even after all this time it still feels brand new and we have lots of ideas we want to put into place.  Watch this space.
